Pastor Joel came to Lord of the Valley in November of 2025. After coming to Grand County regularly with his family for nearly 20 years for recreation and adventure in the beauty of God’s creation, he is excited to live, work, serve, and play here. Kris Kuhnel is a resident of Granby. She has been Office Manager at Lord of the Valley since 2000 and is a member of the church.

Misty Lamb-Nelson
Piano Accompanist for Worship
Misty Lamb-Nelson moved to Grand County from Oklahoma in 2006, where she met her husband Rich, director of the Winter Park Competition Center Snowboard Team. She is currently the Music Director at Middle Park High School and holds a Master’s in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Baylor University. Misty has played for churches throughout her life and is excited to help lead worship at LOTV each Sunday.
Chad Kuhnel
Guitar Accompanist for Worship
Chad Kuhnel is a resident of Granby. He has been a musician at Lord of the Valley since 1998 and is a member of the church.
