Pastors Note

Mission School Needs:

Can you imagine Bible School, Sunday School, or any school without supplies? Neither can we, so we'd like to ask your help in collecting supplies for our friends in Nicaragua to use in their Sunday schools, Bible schools, preschools, and schools.

Needs include:

·  pencils and pens

·  colored pencils

·  erasers

·  markers

·  crayons

·  scissors

·  glue and gluesticks

·  stickers

·  glitter

·  yarn

·  notebooks

·  notebook paper

·  spiral notebooks

·  construction paper

·  colored copy paper

·  white copy paper

·  envelopes

·  small rulers

·  inexpensive calculators

·  index cards

·  paperclips

·  staplers and staples

·  post it notes

We know many many children whose school lives will be enriched by your help. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

Mission Trip Needs:

 

The church is collecting unwanted eyeglasses.

Dr Ellen Petrilla, Optometrist,

will check the prescription of the lenses, label the glasses/lenses in preparation to prescribe them to a person who comes to the mission clinic.

 

These other supplies are also needed, and can be dropped of at Lord of the Valley Lutheran Church.

 

Evangelism supplies:

Christian literature in Spanish; book marks,  story books etc

Spanish Bibles

 

General items:

2 Halogen head lights

4 Small flashlights

Extra batteries for flashlights

1 roll of duck tape

1 tarp 10 x 12 feet

1 Package Rope

1 power strip

Scrubs variety of sizes (thrift stores or garage sales)

Glucose testing kit

Thermometer

Collapsible water jugs

Supplies for Dental:

Small paper cups for Fluoride treatments

Adult tooth brushes

Medium size tooth paste

Children tooth brushes

Small tubes of tooth paste

Goggles

 

Supplies for Optical:

Two large hand mirrors

 

Medical Supplies:

Tylenol

Gauze 2X2’s

Ibuprofen

Varity of medical supplies

Vitamins

Gloves

Gauze 4X4’s
